Had a great time at the One of a Kind show yesterday!
Came across an organic farm just south of Orillia, Ontario, called Sweet Dove Herbs. They had lots of tea and herbs, and I just saw that there are great opportunities for people to volunteer on this farm and others through WWOOF, World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms. Isn’t that a neat idea?!
Besides the tea and herbs, I LOVED String Theory - only launched 6 months ago by 2 textile designers - and they were selling their scarves like crazy! I got one :)

Concerned with an increasingly accepted and de facto quick serve restaurant (QSR) eating culture, Simmons promotes home cooking as the central means to create a healthier American food culture. Overall was a worthwhile trip to Guelph — I got some great olive oil and balsamic vinegar from Acropolis Organics and heavenly after dinner tea from a local herbal farm.

I love this MISO guy! Saw him at the Whole Life Expo too and it’s soooo yummy! Jars are $10 each but really worth it and way healthier for you — fermented, sundried, organic, and much more…. http://www.traditionmiso.com/
